I can not really hide that I am a Warhole fan. Pop art inspired me for this series. I draw various foods and other objects typical for the places I visit. I also handpick the brands by different metaphorical qualities I wish them to represent in the picture. 

Here you see a special selection of one of Bulgarias most poppular dishes - liutenitza - a tomato chutney spiced with various ingredients and consistency. It has a deep rooted tradition in our culture. In many households it is a tradition to prepare it and it represents a lot more than just a meal. It beholds the love of the faamily and brings summer memmories into the winter times. You can find in the bottom left, the home made version.

The top left jar thou, is one of the most generic mass produced factory version of liutenitza, it reminds me the change of the system in the 90`s.
